Ms. Linda Fu began her musical journey with piano lessons at age six. She quickly excelled, winning her first prize in the Hong Kong School Music Festivals at age eight. In secondary school, she helped a teacher organize a music composition class, where students created music using an electric piano and a computer. She earned a distinction in her Grade 8 Piano certificate from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in 1997. She then continued her music studies at the School of Continuing Education, Hong Kong Baptist University, from 2002 to 2004, where she earned a Music certificate of GCE Advanced level.

A Professional Musical Career

Ms. Fu has been a part-time piano tutor since 2004 and transitioned to a full-time role in 2012. Throughout her career, she has also accompanied for instrumental exams and music festivals. She has served as a pianist at various churches. She feels honored to have studied with great teachers, including Dr. Thomas Lanners, Eva Lau, and her current teacher, Mr. Shum Kin Wai. This continuous learning allows her to bring fresh insights to her students. She has performed in multiple settings and enjoys sharing her passion for music with others.

Ms. Fu currently teaches students ranging from age 3 to 40, and she genuinely enjoys every moment with her students and their parents. She is a patient, creative, confident, and passionate piano tutor Linda Fu. She is constantly improving her teaching methods to provide the best knowledge. Therefore, she focuses on each student’s unique needs and abilities. She tailors each lesson accordingly, ensuring every student has a personalized learning experience. Her goal is to not only teach piano but also to inspire a lifelong love for music.
