Background 背景
Founded in 1997 by Ringo Chan, a professional music educator, PURE Orchestral Centre has become a leader in orchestral training. Mr. Chan has a Canadian background. He specializes in instrumental and ensemble teaching methods. Today, our teaching team consists of over 20 professional music instructors and a dedicated administration team. Over the years, PURE has earned wide recognition from local and international schools and private enterprises. We are also recognized by parents and students within our vibrant music community.
純樂管弦中心由具加拿大背景的專業音樂教育家陳子愉先生於 1997 年創立。多年來，純樂已成為管弦樂訓練的領先機構。陳先生專長於器樂及合奏教學法。在陳先生的領導下，純樂現有的教學團隊由超過 20 位專業音樂導師和一個行政團隊組成。多年來，純樂已成為香港領先的音樂教育機構。因此，我們廣受本地和國際學校界、私人企業，以及其自身音樂社群的家長和學生的廣泛認可。

Our mission for orchestral training is to offer high-quality, comprehensive programs. We also provide enriching performance opportunities. Both inspire students to achieve their full musical potential. Ultimately, we strive to provide a well-rounded music education that builds confidence, encourages teamwork, and instills a lifelong love for music in every participant.

Our Teaching Approach 我們的教學理念
Our music programs are unique in Hong Kong. They draw inspiration from the North American music education model, particularly the curriculum structure set forth by the School of Music of the University of British Columbia. As a result, PURE develops its own programs. These programs embody the best parts of this model, while thoughtfully adapting them to meet local music education demands.
我們的音樂課程在香港獨樹一幟。其靈感來自於北美音樂教育模式，特別參考了不列顛哥倫比亞大學音樂學院所制定的課程結構。因此，純樂發展出自己的音樂課程。它融合了北美音樂教育模式的所有精髓和優點，同時經過調整以符合本地音樂教育的需求。
Our partnerships 我們的合作關係
We deeply value our partnerships with schools. This is a core part of our success. We recognize the increasing importance of both practical and theoretical music knowledge. Therefore, we believe an effective curriculum requires collaboration between quality educators and schools in Hong Kong. We have worked closely with a large number of local and international primary and secondary schools for many years. We also often act as consultants to assist in curriculum development and expansion.

Furthermore, since 2002, PURE has become the official Hong Kong home of the world-renowned UBC Summer Music Institute in Vancouver, Canada. This fosters a higher level of professional and musical advancement and international exchange.
