Welcome Hungarian renowned flutist – Dora Ittzes

Ringo took a picture with Dora, right next to company logo of PURE and HKFC.

How wonderful it was to meet the renowned Hungarian flutist Dora Ittzes at the Hong Kong Flute Centre during her recent visit to Hong Kong! This encounter filled us with immense joy. Even more satisfying, we received two very special scores from my buddy Gregory Ittzes, the celebrated Hungarian flutist and Professor of Flute at the Tianjin Juilliard School of Music. These compositions by Gregory are full of vivid, creative musical ideas and unique flute writing. They utilize unimaginable contemporary flute techniques, making you wonder just how a flute can produce such sounds! We will be exploring these fun new materials with our flute students right away, offering truly cutting-edge experiences.

You could learn so much from a truly great flute player and a dedicated flute teacher! This kind of direct interaction with top-tier musicians like Hungarian flutist Dora Ittzes is invaluable for aspiring artists. It provides insights and inspiration that go far beyond standard lessons, offering a unique chance for musical growth.

Here is Jasmine Chong, an outstanding young flute player from the Hong Kong Flute Centre. She spent some precious moments with the distinguished Hungarian flutist Dora Ittzes (even amidst the red rain signal!) right here at the Hong Kong Flute Centre. Jasmine’s experience highlights the direct benefits of these special visits.

The Transformative Power of Masterclasses
