Violin

The violin is an instrument that can take many years to master due to its simplistic design: two wood pieces stick together with 4 strings, a sound bridge built on the wood pieces and the sound is produce through sheer vibrations of the strings by the violin bow. The different pitches are produced through pressing the strings at different “positions” by the left-hand's fingers , hence muscle flexibility is particularly importance due to its non-mechanical instrument nature .
The sound of the violin could sometimes like a swan, it sounds graceful and elegance like one afloat on the lake looking up the serene calm sky, yet urgent and alarmed, even hurried, when the hunter comes out.

  • Violin comes in several sizes, from 1/8 to 4/4. Violin teacher will be able to assist with finding the right size to start on and it is essential to change to a larger size violin as you grow.
