樂理課程 Theory Course

五級樂理

由於考生報考6至8級的ABRSM術科考試必須已考獲5級或以上的樂理、實用音樂修養或solo Jazz subject 合格成績，所以每年都有大量學生為此而報考五級樂理考試。不過，五級樂理並非單單一張報考更高級術科考試的通行證，也是邁向更高音樂成就的必須課。課程根據英國皇家音樂學院五級樂理考試範圍設計。教授和弦音程(chord & interval) 結構、認識五線譜譜表、音名、調號、不規則拍子記號等。

Candidates applying for the ABRSM Practical Exams for Levels 6 to 8 must have passed Level 5 or above in Music Theory, Practical Music Accomplishment or solo Jazz subject, so a large number of students apply for Level 5 Music Theory for this purpose every year. However, Level 5 Music Theory is not just a pass to apply for more advanced technical examinations, it is also a necessary course for achieving higher musical achievement. The curriculum is designed according to the scope of the five-level music theory examination of the Royal Academy of Music. This include teaching each the structure of chord & interval, recognising staff, note names, key signatures, irregular time signatures, etc.

八級樂理

本課程按 ABRSM 之六至八級理論考試範圍編排。此乃音樂愛好者、聲樂及樂器學習者、合唱團員等必修的課程，可幫助增強學習及欣賞音樂能力。課程根據英國皇家音樂學院八級樂理考試範圍設計。課程內容包括：數字低音、四部和聲、變化和聲、二部及三部對位法、巴洛克風格寫作、鍵盤及管弦樂器寫法、旋律創作；室樂及管弦樂作品分析、不同樂期之風格、基本曲式、樂曲配器、樂器之結構和特性、音樂史等。

This course is organised according to the scope of the ABRSM theory test of level 6 to 8. This is a compulsory course for music lovers, vocal and instrument learners, choir members, etc. It can help enhance the ability to learn and appreciate music. The course is designed according to the scope of the eighth level of the Royal College of Music Examination. Course content includes: figured bass, four-part harmony, functional harmony, two-part and three-part counterpoint, baroque style writing, keyboard and orchestral instrument writing, melody creation; chamber music and orchestral work analysis, awareness on styles of different periods,  music orchestration, structure and characteristics of musical instruments, music history, etc.
