Trumpet

Trumpet is the soprano equivalence of voice in the brass family. It uses the treble clef , it is small in size and sounds are produce by alternating the length of various tubus through the pressing of three valves.

The trumpet is a great solo instrument, it is capable of doing both classical and jazz music. 

All brass instruments made sound through buzzing the lips and change of muscle pressures through a mouthpiece.  The trumpet's mouthpiece is small compared to the other larger size brass instruments.
