Piano is fundamental and essential to the study of all kinds of music. The ability to play the piano, or simply any keyboards, provides the realm of music rudiments that are essential to the understanding of the basics of musical knowledge, such as note-reading, intervals, rhythm, harmony, counterpoints, to name a few.
