K.W. Yeung

An avid classical guitar player and a passionate all-rounded instrumental teacher for over ten years, Mr. Hugo Yeung has been performing actively throughout Hong Kong music scenes as a jazz guitarist.

Hugo started his musical studies at his secondary school years with the Hong Kong renowned guitar maestro studied guitar with Hong Kong Mr. Frog Chan, Teddy Suen and Autumn Ng, as well as advanced electronic guitar repair technology with Mr. Cheung Wai Po, Hugo received his performance diplomas and has became an Associate from the Trinity School as well as the Associated Board is the Royal School of Music in 2014 and 2017 respectively.   

In addition to the guitar, Hugo has shown immense interests in other woodwind and brass instruments over his musical nurturing years such as the flute,clarinet,saxophone, trombone and the trumpet, through attending lessons, workshops and masterclasses conducted by various local and international music educators.  With his dedication to elementary music education, Hugo has successfully developed himself in the capacity of a peripatetic teacher in the area of instrumental teaching with a focus for beginners, establishing passions and building a solid foundation for further instrumental studies at a higher level.  

Over years, Hugo has been conducting instrumental classes of various instruments as well as private lessons both privately and at various local and international schools, such as Nord Anglia International School of Hong Kong , Pure Orchestral Centre, Anfield International School and St Johannes Primary School.
