Musical Instrument Rent-To-Own & Purchase Scheme

While students paying regular tuition would be entitled to free use of a musical instrument, they could, however, opt to possess an instrument of their own through our Rent-To-Own and Outright Purchase Schemes

For the Rent-To-Own scheme, students pay a bi-monthly fee and become the owner of the instrument upon furnished full payment for the cost of the instrument.

For the Outright Purchase scheme, students pay the total cost of the instrument right from the beginning.

The cost of the instrument will be less for those who choose Outright Purchase scheme over Rent-To-Own.

    1. A bi-monthly rental fee will be applied.

    1. Students will be allowed to take home the instrument for practice

    2. Students are required to return the instrument to school immediately once monthly rental payment has stopped.

    3. Any damage or loss of the provided instruments must be paid in full at the cost of the repair or the purchase price of the instrument.

    4. Pure Orchestral Centre is not responsible for providing instrument accessories such as spare strings, rosin, reeds, valve oil, spike holders etc. These items could be provided by Pure at a cost to the students.

    5. If a student stops receiving lessons at school, or is leaving school altogether, while the cost of the instruments is still under monthly payment, student must opt for either full pay or return the instruments to the school immediately. Students are obligated to ensure that the instrument is in good working order. Any damages or malfunction made due to use’s negligence will be charged to the user.

    6. All rental instruments must be returned to school at the end of the academic year.

    1. The purchase scheme is for BRAND NEW instrument of entry level. A one-year warranty will be provided under normal playing condition

    2. Subject to availability, USED instruments of may be considered. The cost of will depend on the condition of the instrument and will be approximately 30-50% less than the cost of a new instrument.

    3. Students enjoy a special discount with outright purchase.

    4. All used instruments are thoroughly sterilized, oiled, adjusted, polished and in superb and solid playing condition, followed by a one-year warranty under normal playing conditions.
