Nicole received her Master of Music Performance Degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, where she studied with Robin Bowman, Pamela Lidiard, Gordon Back, Eugene Asti, Andrew Bottrill and John York. In London and Austria, she played in various masterclasses by Graham Johnson, Ian Burnside, Frank Wibaut, Sally Burgess, Stefan Popov, Krzysztof Smietana and Takács Quartet. In 2005, she won the piano concerto and the violin duo classes in Blackheath Music Festival in London. The same year, she was offered a scholarship to attend the International Summer Academy in Salzburg, Austria. In 2006, Nicole won the champion in the National Artist Competition- Hong Kong, after that she was invited to enter the final round held at Beijing in which she won the second prize among all representatives from various provinces in China.
Nicole Ho started to play the piano around the age of nine, and has since won numerous prizes in the Annual Hong Kong Schools Music Festivals, including champions and runner-ups in various categories of piano solos and concerto from 1986 to 1998. She attained the coveted Licentiate of Performer’s Diploma, from internationally recognized Trinity College of London in 1998.
From 1993 to 1997, Nicole Ho attended the Junior Music School of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts where she was a scholarship student studying piano under Nan Wong and later, Prof. Eleanor Wong, Senior Lecturer (Keyboard) and Artist-in-Residence. In 2003, she graduated at the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in music. She studied with Shirley Ip and Raymond Young. During her undergraduate years, Nicole was the principal pianist of the University Philharmonic Orchestra, a key member of the Department Gamelan, and the accompanist in the University Choir. She was also a member of the Hong Kong SAR Music Office Youth Choir from 1999 to 2001, the accompanist of the Hong Kong Choir of Outstanding Children from 2002 to 2003, as well as an official pianist at the Jean M. Wong School of Ballet in 2003-2004, 2006-2007.
Upon returning to Hong Kong, Nicole Ho has been active in teaching and accompanying at the Hong Kong SAR Music Office, local choirs, schools and conservatoires, including the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts and the Jean M. Wong School of Ballet. In 2009, she accompanied in the violin masterclass by Yao Jue at the University of Hong Kong and was official accompanist of Music Office in the cello masterclass by Professor Chu Yi-Bing from the Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing. In 2008, she played in the masterclass by Seymour Lipkin. She was invited as adjudicator at the music competition in the Kowloon Tong School in 2006.
As a soloist and an accompanist, she has given public and private recitals extensively at major venues in Hong Kong, including the City Hall, the Cultural Centre, the Conference and Exhibition Centre, the University of Hong Kong, the Jockey Club Auditorium, the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, St. John’s Cathedral and various town auditoriums. Nicole is also an in-demand solo pianist performing a wide repertoire of light classical, show and pop tunes at various venues such as The Sun Arcade, Sheraton Hotel, Peninsula Hotel and Island Shangri-La Hotel.
In 2010, Nicole joins the piano and accompaniment faculty of PURE Orchestral Centre, become one of its major piano teacher, provides high-quality piano teaching and professional accompaniment services.
何詠熙畢業於英國倫敦喬凱音樂學院，並獲得演奏碩士文憑。期間師隨Robin Bowman、Pamela Lidiard、Gordon Back、Eugene Asti、Andrew Botrill及John York。她亦曾參與倫敦、奧地利及香港之多個大師班，當中包括Seymour Lipkin、Graham Johnson、Ian Burnside、Frank Wibaut、Sally Burgess、Stefan Popov、Krzysztof Smietana及 Takács Quartet。2005年她於倫敦Blackheath音樂節中奪得鋼琴協奏曲及小提琴二重奏組別之冠軍。同年7月，她獲獎學金參加奧地利薩爾茨堡莫札特國際暑期音樂學院。翌年，她在中國全國人材選拔大賽香港區分賽中奪魁，並獲邀參加北京總決賽，在全國各省縣代表中獲得亞軍。
